Dr. Jenell Effinger
Clinical Director
Front Range Treatment Center is overseen by Jenell Effinger, Ph.D., a clinical psychologist licensed in Colorado and Washington. She is a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified DBT Clinician.™
Dr. Effinger specializes in treating issues of impulse control, self-injury, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, and intense moods. She also works with individuals with psychotic experiences.
Dr. Effinger teaches DBT skills courses and works with individual therapy clients who are seventeen years old and above.

Dr. Emily Biggs-Heisler
Emily Biggs-Heisler, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist and the Director of Adolescent Programming at Front Range Treatment Center, where she also completed her post-doctoral fellowship.
She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in clinical, research, and testing settings and is intensively trained in brief suicide prevention interventions, cognitive behavioral and trauma-based therapies, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy for Adolescents (DBT-A).
Dr. Biggs-Heisler provides individual, family, and couples therapy. She teaches DBT skills groups and works with clients who are thirteen years old and above.

Tanner Oliver, LCSW
Tanner Oliver, LCSW, is a licensed clinical social worker in the state of Colorado. Tanner is FRTC’s general manager, and he supervises our skilled team of licensed social workers and clinical social work candidates.
Tanner oversees FRTC’s Couples DBT Program, and he has a special interest in anxiety disorders, emotional dysregulation, borderline personality disorder, and trauma-related issues.
Tanner provides couples therapy and works with individual adult clients.

Shyla Ford-Marchion, LCSW
Shyla Ford-Marchion is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in Colorado and Florida.
Shyla has dedicated over 15 years to helping individuals, couples and families in the areas of mood and emotion dysregulation disorders, self harm, suicidality and family support with Borderline Personality Disorder.
Shyla teaches DBT skills courses (including our DBT Friends and Family Group), and works with adults, children and families.

Dr. Maddie Lehrer
Maddie Lehrer, Psy.D., is a post-doctoral psychology fellow.
Dr. Lehrer has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and parents as an individual, family, and group therapist. She specializes in treating issues of trauma, depression, anxiety, impulse control, self-injury, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, and intense moods.
She provides individual and family therapy. She teaches DBT skills groups and works with clients who are thirteen years old and above.

Dr. Amanda Fisher
Amanda Fisher, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist licensed in Colorado.
Dr. Fisher’s interests include treating issues related to trauma, depression, anxiety, impulse control, psychosis, and intense moods. She completed her postdoctoral residency at Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center.
She provides individual therapy, couples therapy, and teaches DBT skills groups. She works with clients who are seventeen years old and above.

Anabelle Brecker, LSW
Anabelle Brecker is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Colorado.
Anabelle enjoys working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, substance use, BPD, and interpersonal conflict. Anabelle strives to create a safe, open, and non-judgemental environment.
Anabelle works with adult clients, and teaches DBT skills groups.
